  • Will AnySecura software conflict with antivirus or firewall programs?
    No. AnySecura is designed to be compatible with all major antivirus, firewall, and anti-malware software. We continuously test for compatibility with updated versions of popular security programs.
  • What kinds of devices and systems are supported?
    AnySecura supports Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems for comprehensive endpoint protection. Administrators can also perform essential controls and monitoring from mobile devices.
  • Can AnySecura prevent file leaks via USB drives?
    Yes. Our USB Management module allows you to authorize, restrict, or block USB ports and devices. You can also enable encrypted usage or limit access to approved devices only.
  • What happens if a user renames a restricted application?

    You can block applications in two ways:
    First, by manually entering the application name (wildcards are supported);
    Second, by selecting from predefined application categories.

    If you create a policy by manually entering the application name rather than choosing from a category, renaming the application may cause the policy to become ineffective. To ensure persistent control, we recommend selecting applications from the category list, so that the policy remains valid even if the application name changes.

  • Does AnySecura slow down system performance?
    AnySecura is lightweight and runs efficiently in the background. It is optimized to have minimal impact on system performance during daily use and resource-heavy operations.
  • Can AnySecura monitor and control email usage?

    Yes. AnySecura’s email monitoring feature captures emails sent and received via standard protocols such as SMTP, POP3, IMAP, and Microsoft Exchange. It also logs emails sent through webmail services and Lotus Notes.

    The email control feature allows restrictions on emails sent using standard protocols and Microsoft Exchange but does not support controlling webmail or Lotus Notes emails.
