You can block applications in two ways:
First, by manually entering the application name (wildcards are supported);
Second, by selecting from predefined application categories.
If you create a policy by manually entering the application name rather than choosing from a category, renaming the application may cause the policy to become ineffective. To ensure persistent control, we recommend selecting applications from the category list, so that the policy remains valid even if the application name changes.
Yes. AnySecura’s email monitoring feature captures emails sent and received via standard protocols such as SMTP, POP3, IMAP, and Microsoft Exchange. It also logs emails sent through webmail services and Lotus Notes.
The email control feature allows restrictions on emails sent using standard protocols and Microsoft Exchange but does not support controlling webmail or Lotus Notes emails.
