Time Synchronization for Document Access Control in AnySecura
This guide explains how AnySecura's time synchronization feature works within the External Viewer to ensure secure document access. You'll see how it prevents users from bypassing time limits by altering their system clock.
We'll walk through the two simple methods to keep time in sync, whether your computer is connected to the internet or operates in a more restricted environment.
The time synchronization feature prevents users from extending the usage of time-limited external documents by changing the system time, thereby better controlling document access.
Synchronization Methods:
| Method | Description |
|---|---|
| Direct Internet Connection | If the computer can connect to the Internet, select this method and click [Update] to synchronize with the correct Internet time. |
| Using a Time Synchronization Tool | If the computer cannot access the Internet, select this method. On a computer that can access the Internet, run the time synchronization tool, enter the operation code from the External Viewer to generate a confirmation code, then enter this code in the External Viewer and click [Update] to synchronize the time. |
